Stamp Duty

Stamp duty is a tax applied when you purchase a stock of a company incorporated in the UK (only applies to Buy positions) and is calculated as 0.5% of the overall trade value.

PTM levy

PTM stands for Panel of Takeovers and Mergers, a regulatory body that ensures investors of a stock are treated equally when a takeover bid occurs.

This is an automatically fixed fee of £1 for any deal with a value of more than £10,000 on the London Stock Exchange. If the value of your trade is less than £10,000, no PTM will be applied.

Euronext Exchanges apply a fixed clearing fee of €0.04 per trade.

Euronext Exchange Fees

Euronext Exchanges apply a fixed exchange fee of €0.15 per trade. This is applied once per trade, regardless of the trade size.

The variable Exchange fee is calculated as 0.0095% of the overall trade value. Both fees are applicable to orders on the Euronext exchanges.

French FTT - Financial Transaction Tax

Financial Transaction tax is applied when you purchase a stock of a company headquartered in France (only applies to Buy positions) and is calculated as 0.3% of the overall trade value.

FINRA TAF

FINRA is The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority in the US that regulates brokers and exchanges. The TAF (Trading Activity Fee) of $0.000119 per share is applied to Sell positions only and has a maximum charge of $5.95.

Transaction Fees

A transaction fee of 0.05% of the overall trade value will be charged on Sell positions.

The XETRA exchange applies a fixed regulatory fee of €0.01 per trade. This is applied once per trade, regardless of the trade size.

The XETRA Exchange apply a fixed clearing fee of €0.03 per trade. This is applied once per trade, regardless of the trade size.

The variable clearing fee is calculated as 0.001% of the overall trade value with a maximum of €5. Both fees are applicable to orders on the XETRA exchange.
